APEX Technology is a new term introduced by PROTECT, representing the advanced technology behind the PROTECT M80™ and PROTECT M90™ fog cannons. Developed entirely in-house in Denmark, APEX Technology is a PROTECT brand and a mark of excellence in security fog solutions. The PROTECT M80™ and PROTECT M90™ set a new benchmark in speed and effectiveness. With a more powerful pump and an optimized heating element, they are up to four times faster than previous models. The PROTECT M80™ can fire 150m³ of security fog in just 11 seconds and 250m³ in 22 seconds, while the PROTECT M90™ can fire 200m³ in 12 seconds and 300m³ in 35 seconds—all measured at 1-meter visibility. This rapid response time creates an immediate shock effect, making it nearly impossible for intruders to see or continue their actions.

The reduced reheating time ensures that the fog cannons are quickly ready for activation after being powered on.

The Bag-in-Box fog fluid system, also called APEX Fluid, minimizes waste, ensuring that almost all fluid is utilized while maintaining NFC encryption for authentication and security. This new system simplifies handling and ensures that only original, high-quality fog fluid is used, maintaining maximum performance.

Installation and servicing made easy

With APEX Technology, installing and maintaining fog cannons has never been simpler. IntelliSuite 2 software provides an intuitive step-by-step guide for installers, reducing installation time and ensuring a smooth setup. Standard USB connectivity enables quick PC integration, and a one-button service mode prevents accidental fog activation during maintenance.

Additionally, APEX IP activation allows the PROTECT M80™ and PROTECT M90™ to connect to IntelliCloud, enabling wireless service reporting for real-time monitoring and remote maintenance. This provides installers and end-users with instant insights into their fog cannon’s status, reducing the need for on-site service visits.
