The liquid from PROTECT ™ can last 5 years from the date of production in unopened packaging and 2 years from the date of installation. If discolored, the liquid needs to be replaced. We recommend changing the fluid at the annual service inspection.

No. However, we recommend venting within 1 hour of firing to avoid condensation of the water-based fog. If this does not happen, you will probably still not be able to see or feel that a fog cannon has been fired.
