NIZE equipment is a company from Odder, Denmark, which sells equipment for the graphic industry in the Nordic countries. NIZE equipment experienced several break-ins. One time the intruders made their way inside and were able to steal several of the company’s computer screens. Lars Nikolajsen, CEO of NIZE equipment, stated that the fact that the thieves could get inside at all bothered them, and it was something they wanted to put an end to. 

When the police arrived, they asked for video surveillance, which was not installed at NIZE equipment. However, the police concluded themselves that thieves often wear masks, so they cannot be identified through the surveillance video anyways. Therefore, an alternative security solution was needed which could actively protect the area immediately if a new break-in were to take place.
