A PROTECT Fog Cannon® automatically comes with a 5-year warranty. This is possible, because PROTECT Fog Cannons® are reliable, high-quality complaint-free products.
The warranty follows the Fog Cannon™ from the manufacturer to the end customer.
Also, as a service to our customers, you do not have to register the product online to obtain the warranty!
Please notice that the date of commencement of the warranty is based on the invoice date on the invoice from PROTECT™ to the alarm installation company.
Please also be aware, that the warranty will be void if a product has not been installed in accordance with the manual belonging to each product, and if the alarm installation company or the end-customer has used non-original parts or non-original fog fluid.
*Fog Cannon™ model Xtratus®/Xtratus Flex® comes with a 2-year warranty only.
As PROTECT A/S deals only directly with distributors/partners throughout most of the world, and alarm installers throughout the UK, Scandinavia, Iceland and the Faroe Islands, the following terms and exceptions only apply to the customer relationship between us (PROTECT A/S) and the alarm installation companies that purchase our products.

The 5-year warranty covers defects in Fog Cannons. In the event of a defect, a complaint must be made immediately.
The warranty includes replacement of defective parts with new or used parts with the same functions and internal working time for PROTECT A/S.
As explained above, the date of commencement of the warranty is based on the invoice date on the alarm installer’s invoice from PROTECT A/S.
On accessories, spare parts and repair work we provide a 1-year warranty to our registered alarm installation companies.
As mentioned, the Xtratus® and Xtratus Flex® models only come with a 2-year warranty.
The warranty does not include fog fluid and batteries (consumables), the metal cabinet and ordinary wear and tear. The transportation costs and the alarm installer’s labor costs are also excluded from the warranty.
Note that the warranty is canceled if a product is not installed in accordance with the manual for each product and if the alarm installation company or end customer has used non-original parts or non-original fog fluid.
The PROTECT™ security fog fluid has an expiration time of 2 years from the installation of the fluid container in the Fog Cannon™ fog machine, and 5 years if it has not been installed and has been stored in its original packaging, in a cool, dry place protected from sunlight. Once the expiration date has passed, a replacement is recommended to maintain the properties and density of the security fog.
